Quote Buttons

Everything you need to know about setting up our $$$ making quote buttons.

3 buttons are automatically added to your store when you download our app.

They should populate in an optimum spot, but depending on how customized your theme is, may need a little bit of adjustment. If you need help adjusting your buttons please chat us. We have these buttons set on by default, but If you want to disable them while configuring your store navigate to Settings > Buttons and under "Placement", disable each of the 3 buttons.

Add to Quote

This button is shown on product pages and is used by the customer to add individual products to their quote. On the front end it will appear on products pages next to the add to cart button. When a customer clicks this button it will add the product to the quote cart form.

Text - You can change the button text to say whatever you like! it doesn't even have to be quote-related! The possibilities are really endless! to edit this go to the Settings > Buttons page and edit the text in the "Text" Box

Behavior - You can change the Behavior of the button.

If the "Product Added Dialog Shown" is selected on the front end it will appear like..

once the add to quote button is selected.

If the "Open Quote Dialog Immediately" it will open the quote cart when the add to quote button is selected.

Color - Don't forget to change the color of the button to match your website!

Request Quote

This button is shown on all pages and allows the customer to return to their quote from any page. On the front end it looks like..

Text- You can change the button text to say whatever you like! to edit this go to the Settings > Buttons page and edit the text in the "Text" Box

Smart Visibility

"Show Always" will have this button always showing on your page.

"Only if a customer has added product to quote" the button will only show on your website after a customer has added a product to the quote.

Placement

Hover - The "Finish Quote" text will appear when you hover over the button

Expanded - the "Request Quote" button will appear and remain as pictured below. This is our recommended setting.

Disabled - No "Request Quote" will show on your web page.

***If you select Hover or expanded, you can place the button anywhere you like! Play around with it to get the perfect placement for your website!

Cart to Quote

This button is shown in the cart page and allows the customer to convert the order from a cart to a quote. It will save all the items from the cart into a quote.

Behavior

Cart Merge/New Dialog Shown - Once the Cart to quote button is selected a pop up will ask if you want to create or merge the quote.

Automatically Merge Cart with Current Quote - If there is already a quote started, it will merge whatever is in the cart with whatever is in the quote cart. It will not prompt any dialog. It will open up the quote cart for the customer to complete their quote.

Automatically Create New Quote from Cart - A new quote will be created when the Cart to Quote button is selected.
